A personal crisis followed the victory. Two-year-old Jerusalem had measles with complications that caused her death. While Erkenesh wept in the bathroom, Tekle lay on the floor praying. After two hours, God restored life, but her sightless eyes could not focus. Tekle continued to pray. In a short while, scales fell from her eyes. To day, Jerusalem is a lovely, soft-spirited girl with unusually bright eyes.
Truly Mark 16:20 is being fulfilled today in Ethiopia: "And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following."
