The work of Gk)d in Ethiopia today is inextricably woven to the past. Part of that past is a pamphlet which God used to open the door to revival in Ethiopia. What follows is the amazing story of how the Lord brought that pamphlet into existence. It is not a tale of how God used a giant man of God: to the contrary, it is more akin to the old story about a shepherdboywitha few stones and a sling whom God used to bring about a great victory.
The First Battle Over My Baptism
"Give me my son. I'm taking him to the priest to have him baptized into the Catholic church." I was only a few
days old when my Italian father made this demand of my mother. My poor mother, did not know what to do. No longer was she in the comfort and security of a Pente costal family in the piney woods of East Texas. She was now living in Niagara Falls, New York, backslidden and alone.
