The Biblical record and teaching of monotheism agrees with the un-bias historical facts. Even the archeological evidence of the earliest known Christian Church found in Israel has a completely different theology than later Byzantine or “Late Antiquity” dogma. We quote parts of a very illumining article.
Archaeologists Unveil Ancient Church Site By RAMIT PLUSHNICK-MASTI “The discovery of the church in the northern Israeli town of Megiddo, near the biblical Armageddon, was hailed by experts as an important discovery that could reveal details about the development of the early church in the region. Archaeologists said the church dated from the third century, decades before Constantine legalized (Catholic) Christianity across the Byzantine Empire.”
“Two mosaics inside the church - one covered with fish, an ancient Christian symbol that predates the cross - tell the story of a Roman officer and a woman named Aketous who donated money to build the church in the memory “of the God, Jesus Christ.”
The early pre-Byzantine Church was built “in the memory “of the God Jesus Christ.” It was not erected to a Trinity and there are no references in this early Church to Trinitarian Godhead teachings. So who changed things later during the “Dark Ages” or the Byzantine Late Antiquity period of time? Well as we shall see the self-proclaimed demigod primarily did it, the sun worshipping delusional Emperor Constantine. Constantine chose to promote pagan Greco-Roman and Platonic Philosophy rather than the inspired Word of God. Many good and sincere people today follow in his footsteps without a clue as to why they believe what they do. I choose to tell you the historical and biblical facts without any hate toward anyone. Truth is our quest see Proverbs 23:23 Galatians 4:16 and 2 Peter 2:1-2.
For the convenience of the reader tiny almost illegible footnotes are not use. This will also help in lowering distraction from going back and forth in the study. Therefore all the documentation is clearly presented up front for the reader to see with clarity that this study is based upon facts and not mere opinions. A bibliography will be given at the end.
This study presents an historical outline of the mass murders and pagan worship of the Roman Emperor Constantine the Great. His full Latin name was Flavius Valerius Constantius. His paganistic influence upon Catholic orthodoxy cannot be questioned. Let us investigate the facts. Below we see the famous arch of Constantine.
