Y9 – Y13 ROUND THE PARK CROSS COUNTRY 2018
Good weather meant a good turnout for the Round the Park Compe on for 2018. Having all Year 9 students complete the course also meant a larger group in the more social, Cross Country sec on. Well over 250 students completed the course and had the opportunity to qualify for the Southland Cross Country Championships. There were some great individual mes; a notable e ort was Jaxon Taylor comple ng the senior course (approx. 4.4km) in a me of 15 mins 21 secs, closely followed by Buddy-Joe Small.
Well done to all par cipants for comple ng either the senior or the junior course and for improving their tness,
as well as gaining points for their House. Winners for the House Compe on were Coldstream, another convincing team e ort – 15 years in a row that they have achieved this.
