CUTTING BALLOON SYSTEM
Cutting balloon system is invented to cut through
fatty deposit which are hard fibrous and partially
calcified in the coronary artery.
It has tiny microsurgical blades on the outside of it. As
it is inflated, it scores and cuts the fatty deposit, so that
it can be crushed without using too much pressure.

ROTABLATOR
Rotablation, or Rotational Atherectomy, is used when
plaque is too hard and calcified for angioplasty.
Rotablator is a burr of 1.25mm to 1.75mm which
rotates at a speed of 1.5 to 2.0 lacs rotation per min
and ablates calcified fibrotic plaques to micro
particles the size of red blood cells which get flushed
into the blood stream.
It may need micro catheter to change to special rota
