Page 31 - ABCs of quarantine
P. 31
I’ve felt overloaded
during quarantine.
Pretty much every day I have to get up, do
distance learning, do my huge list of chores, help
with the babies, and whatever else my parents ask
me to do.
While I’m doing what I HAVE to do, I think about
what I WANT to do: play Legos, play video games,
make cardboard armor, and go visit friends.
And my mom keeps telling me the numbers about
the virus and how many people in Yakima have it.
And then I worry about if we’ll ever get out of this
quarantine.
And there's no time to worry about anything
because everything has to be done ON TIME and it
all happens at ONCE. I’m overloaded.
