(New International Program) (Academic Year 2018)

Name of Program : Bachelor of Engineering Program in Digital Engineering
                                                    (International Program)
Name of Degree : Bachelor of Engineering (Digital Engineering)
                                                    B.Eng. (Digital Engineering)

                        Program Objectives
The Digital Engineering Program (DGE) is designed to create Digital Engineers with the
skills needed in the following areas: artificial intelligent systems, automation, ICT, novel business
development and economics. The program will prepare the Digital Engineer for industry 4.0. The
“Digital Engineer” will be able to design, fabricate, assemble, install and integrate computer
hardware, software and control systems. They will be provided with the “Digital Literacy” skills
needed to apply to engineering technology to improve automation systems and to masterfully apply
IoT for business and industry; covering Intelligent Software, Intelligent Embedded Systems, and
Intelligent System Integration which are required for the development of new S-curve industries and
                        enterprises.
The Digital Engineer who graduates from DGE Program will also be equipped with the
required skills needed by companies involved in Cloud Computing, Big Data, Mobile Application
                        and Business Intelligence Solutions.

                        Strengths of the Program
                               1. The first curriculum that is Multidisciplinary of Electrical, Communication, Computer,
                        AI, and Emerging Technology.
                               2. Engineering education and training for the future; from basic knowledge, applications,
making or developing product, inside and outside classroom, to create innovations based on Project-
Based Learning (PBL) and Japanese Monodzukuri philosophy.
                               3. Adaptive techniques in teaching and practicing on design, fabrication, assembly,
installation and integration of computer hardware, software and control system, with comfort
                        learning environment.
                               4. Learning to solve real research problems that are requirements from industry and TNI
partners through Co-operative and Training at the workplace.
                               5. Developing excellent communication skills in English, Japanese.
