The American Chemical Society recognizes the exceptional achievements of science
professionals in the chemical enterprise through its awards programs. Through 63
awards, the exploration of, research in, and dedication to chemistry are celebrated in
diverse fields ranging from analytical chemistry to chemical education, from polymer
chemistry to the encouragement of women and disadvantaged students into careers
in the chemical sciences. The Society honors these extraordinary award recipients for
