Tai Chi
The Tai Chi class with Vernise Pelzel is back and meets every Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tai Chi is a form of ex- ercise that offers low impact with minimal stress on muscles and joints and also provides improved circulation, balance, and stress reduction, making it attractive for all ages and tness levels. Originally an ancient Chinese Martial Art, Tai Chi is found today all over America because so many doctors and hospitals recognize this non- competitive system of gentle exercise as an effective “alternative medicine.” The participants will work with their body energy -- “chi” -- in a series of movements done in a slow, focused manner, with one move flowing into the next without pause, ensuring the body is in constant motion. Join us every Wednesday in The Grove.
