with her 2 children, she bought a lovely home on a big parcel of land. She completed a diploma course in 2006 in Welfare Social Service Studies. This would eventually take her on a new career path, I was proud of her and her determination and bravery, as it was not easy for her as a single mum with 2 children.
Wayne and Niccla were working hard on their cake manufacturing business as well as taking on all the trappings of parenthood with 2 children. Anthea was also living in the Southern Highlands in Mittagong with her Mum. My family was on the move, growing and facing life’s challenges head on.
I felt as if I must have done something right to be blessed with a family that I was very proud of, yes you always would like to see them have more of what they need. What they did have is direction, a strong moral code, determination, and a capacity to work hard and they wanted to be good parents, albeit nobody had a recipe on that one. Hopefully tucked away somewhere, was love and hope.
