I am now a great grandfather to our newest arrival Talo, a son to Arielle and Tom Whelan. A prouder moment one could not imagine. Our heritage lives on, the privilege that I have been given to be able to be a part of and partly responsible for the next generation is monumental.
At the forefront are my grandchildren each of whom deserve to be noted.
Firstly, my eldest Kayla, strong willed, determined, a task master and hard worker who chose law as her vocation. After working 2-3 jobs she put herself through university to complete her degree with distinction and a masters. She has been practising law for 5 years.
Secondly is Jacob, inherent talent to be able to do whatever it is he chooses to do and do it very well. He has an obsessive attention to detail, all of which reveals a person who is not happy unless he gets it right. He completed a horticulturist diploma, has worked in several varied activities and is currently displaying his enterprising skills in a start-up business.
