We can all provide love, affection, comfort, and security, we can all afford that much, we just must be mindful how effective it is, it is the least we can do.
We as parents and grandparents can become mentors to our children, providing wise counsel, direction, and choices. The most valuable contribution we can make to our children is to guide them in a way that will enable them to make their own decisions based on all the information known to them to ultimately choose their own path.
I relish this time in this, my eightieth year; it is so gratifying to have lived a full and fortunate life and to be able to speak glowingly and lovingly about my family, my wife, and my life and to be able to share it.
