The most important currencies have weakenend against the Swiss Franc in the past year; the EUR has lost 3.7 % and the CAD 7.1 %. Only the USD was able to gain slightly, by 0.4%, last year.
GLOBAL AND THEME STRATEGIES
With an increase of 13.2 %, the Value Growth Strategie in CHF by Wilfried Forster, which invests mainly in Switzer- land but can also hold foreign stocks, was among the best on the INVESTORY platform in 2018. Further information is given on page 22.
EUR AND USD STRATEGIES
The best performing investment strategies in the EUR and USD area in 2018 were Dividend EU, with a loss of 13.6% in EUR and Digital Transformation US, with a gain of 9.8 % in USD. Both strategies managed by Roger Fromm, the INVESTORY founder from Kloten.
CHF STRATEGIES
At the end of September, the head-to-head race in Swiss equity strategies was won by Trading TSO CH from theScreener.com. With a loss of 10.6%, Trading TSO CH is ahead of Swiss Momentum CH, which had a neg- ative value of 11.3% last year. Both strategies, focussed
on equities in Switzerland, have achieved outstanding re- sults in recent years and consistently outperformed the benchmark, with lower volatility than the benchmark index.
All four winning strategies for 2018, Value Growth Strat- egie, Trading TSO CH, Digital Transformation US and Dividend EU, are part of the Multi-manager Strategy on pages 16 and 17, which was launched at the end of 2016.
For 2019, five new equity strategies will be launched, as follows: Alpha Swiss CH, Börsennavigator Schweiz, Börsennavigator World Indizes, DAX Absolut Return and Börsennavigator BlueChipSelect.
