avoid a re-infestation of pests which might have over-wintered in the
garden.

 Keep foliage dry. Do your watering early so foliage will be dry for
most of the day. Wet foliage encourages insect and fungal damage to
your plants.
 Disinfect. When working with infested plants, clean your tools so you
don’t spread it.

Encourage your kids to take good care of their plants, just like a good
mother, watching them closely, catching things early plus giving them
everything they need to grow. Do this and they will be well on their way to

being a successful gardener and producing healthy delicious food!
