04 VERHALENHUIS BELVÉDÈRE.
Verhalenhuis Belvédère brings together as many people as possi-
ble through art, culture and personal stories. The goal is to let the people connect with each other and with Rotterdam. The Verhalenhuis (story house) sheds light on the people, the community and the ever-changing city and in this way contributes to the cultural and social development of Rotterdam.

too good to be true, doesn’t it? But in Merwe-Vierhavens area (MH4) you will find a leading example of the circular economy. At Stadshaven Brouwerij, innovation and sustainability are an essential part of the busi- ness operation, the brewing processes, and of course of the menu. The brewery uses the most modern techniques in order to waste as little water
One of the old quayside warehouses is now being used as an indoor market for fresh foods where you can shop for authentic and traditional products; from bread straight out of the oven to homemade sausage and home-brewed cider. The pavement café on the waterfront offers an enchanting view of the sunset over the Nieuwe Maas River. The Fenix Food Factory is a culinary seedbed and a place to shop and experience traditional flavours.

FLOATING FARM.
The first floating farm in the world with capacity for 40 cows has been realised in M4H, the exciting and innovative Rotterdam Makers District. Every day, fresh dairy products are produced in a sustainable, circular and animal-friendly way. Visitors can see the cattle, discover how the feed for the cows is produced and learn how dairy products are made, all right in the middle of the city!
