and energy as possible. Even the spent brewing grains are reused; the Floating Farm uses it as feed for its cows. The cows produce 2.5 more litres of milk per day as a result. Jordy’s Bakery also uses it to make brewer’s grain bread. Both the milk and the bread can be found on the menu of Stadshaven Brouwerij. Cheers!

HISTORIC DELFSHAVEN.
   MOOIE BOULES.
Mooie Boules is the first ever indoor jeu de boules bar in Rotterdam, situated in an old metal factory in the Zomerhof quarter (ZOHO) behind Rotterdam Central Station. The location is reminiscent of the old warehouses in New York where the locals played skittles. Mooie Boules also has the atmosphere of an authentic French village square. This is a place where food, drink and entertainment come together.
HISTORICAL GARDEN SCHOONOORD.
Next to Het Park is a lesser-known park: Historische Tuin Schoonoord (Historic Garden Schoonoord) where you will find extraor- dinary vegetation, animals and be¬autiful trees. Thanks to its beautiful elements it has been designated as a national monument.
A historical treasure that survived the bombardment of 1940 in the centre of Rotterdam. In this marina, the people of Delfshaven used to earn their money catching herring and distilling Jenever. This was also the place where the Pilgrim Fathers began their journeys to America, and last but not least, the birthplace of our Dutch maritime hero Piet Hein. All in all, a beautiful part of Rotterdam with a rich history.
