Student Clubs
The student clubs offer students the opportunity for
learning outside the classroom, to build relationships,
and to develop a sense of community. The student
clubs conduct a variety of activities that highlight
their talents and skills.
From the new student orientation to graduation,
most students are involved in at least one student
club or activity at VIU. Membership in all clubs is open
to all students. Students are encouraged to
participate in at least one club event while at VIU.
VIU Adventure Club
The VIU Adventure Club is designed to promote an
appreciation for the outdoors and to also promote a
healthy lifestyle. The group meets to go hiking,
canoeing, bird watching, ice skating, and for other fun
events.
