A narrative text is an imaginative story to entertain people.
2. Purpose of Narrative Text
The Purpose of a Narrative text is to amuse or to entertain the reader with a story.
3. Generic Structure of Narrative Text
a. Orientation: It is about the opening paragraph where the characters of the
story are introduced
b. Complication: Where the problems in the story developed.
c. Resolution: Where the problems in the story are solved.
d. Coda / reorientation (optional) – lesson from the story.
4. The Characteristics / Language Feature of Narrative Text:
