4. Employees who are qualified to avail of their service incentive leaves, home leaves and all other types of
leaves depending on their employment contract provisions shall strictly follow leave filing procedures
stipulated in the Employee Handbook.
5. Employees shall log-in using both the biometrics and eHRIS login features and prior to the start of shift
schedule and shall log-out upon completion of eight (8) hours duty. Employees shall have to log-out during
break time and log-in after the allowable break time period.
6. Undertime work on any particular day shall not be offset by overtime on any other day. Should an employee
need to go on undertime for valid reasons. Undertime form shall be submitted in the HRD prior to logging
out.
7. There is no allowed grace period for any employees. One minute after the set time schedule is considered
tardiness and shall have corresponding deductions to the salary.
8. For Sick Leave and emergency leave employees shall call his immediate superior at least three (3) hours
prior to the duty schedule otherwise absence shall be tagged as AWOL. For Sick Leave, medical certificate
and medical clearance should be attached to the leave form filed upon reporting for duty.
9. Emergency Leave shall be considered if it is matter of life and death situation otherwise shall be filed in
advance and shall be considered as vacation leave without pay.
10. Any punch in a minute right after the prescribed working schedule is already considered late.
11. Grace period will not to be practiced.
12. Over stretching of breaks shall warrant a disciplinary action.
D. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
1. Employees’ salary rates are specified in their signed Employment Contract and shall be paid to all Manpower
Agency twice a month with 15 days interval released through the employees’ ATM cards. There shall
establish cut-of dates of submission of DTRs to give the ample time for HRD to compute the earnings and
processing the payroll.
2. All employees shall be entitled to at least (1) rest day for every seven (7) consecutive days of the work. The
rest day of each employee shall be set and managed by the Department Head and may be adjusted and
change as needed by the operations.
3. All employees except supervisors and managers shall be entitled to an overtime pay should they render at
least (1) hour of overtime hours for authorize reasons and purposes beyond the (8) hour minimum duty
hours. In any of the following cases, the hotel management may require any of the rank and file employee
to work beyond (8) eight hours but with corresponding pay:
a. When work is necessary to prevent loss or damage to perishable goods
b. Where there is urgent work to be performed as machines, installations, equipment in order
to avoid serious loss or damage to the hotel or some other causes serious loss or damage
to the hotel or some other causes similar in nature.
