For every soldier
That ever prayed
For those that came home And for those that stayed
Whose covering was American laws
That embraced the light Of God's Holy cause
And for our soldiers That are fighting now Lord embrace them in Your covenant vow
Give our government The spiritual sense To give our soldiers A prayer line defense
And Lord those that won't Let our people pray Jesus please remove Them out of the way
For every soldier
That ever prayed
For those that came home And for those that stayed
