We have stayed at many hotels and have spoken with many concierges. None of them can ever compare with our new daughter Lillie, the hotel Concierge. From the moment we met her we felt her love for Panama and her willingness to want to share her entire country with us. We established a rapport with her and a genuine friendship with Lil that we have never experienced with any other concierge. What touched us the most was the surprise birthday cake she arranged with the staff to make sure that my wife enjoyed her special day. Smooches!
I told you briefly about our meeting with Rick, the night manager. In addition to literally coming out to find us so we could follow him to the hotel, he also gave us an upgrade to another room with a patio terrace, that offered a great view of the city just so I could take pictures of the skyline and do some time lapse photography. Now his counterpart was no slouch either, Roberto was a manager who on many occasions was also a lifesaver. From taking us around in the hotel vehicle to arranging pickup of the rental car from the hotel to restaurant recommendations, Roberto was a wealth of information and knowledge that served to provide extra added value to our vacation and hotel experience. My wife loves her some Roberto.
If the hotel was not already a five star hotel, rest assure that the staff is definitely five stars. You see I really wouldn’t call them staff as much as I would refer to them as co- owners. They treated my wife and I as though we were their personal guests in their own home. You cannot ask for a better group of people to serve you, nor a better hotel experience. We felt like royalty. Thank you all, we will definitely be back!
