   Internet Connectivity
With an increase in email, online services and VoIP, internet connectivity impacts on businesses of all sizes today. Having high-speed business- grade connectivity with guaranteed SLAs to ensure applications perform consistently is now more essential than ever before.
What internet speeds are needed for VoIP?
For the best call clarity, the minimum speed for VoIP phone calls is between 90 kbps (kilobits per second) to 156 kbps at the other end of the VoIP speed spectrum.
Generally speaking, the higher your upload speed, the more reliably consistent the quality of your VoIP phone calls will be. Typically, only a broadband Internet connection can provide the minimum bandwidth for VoIP calls.
For more demanding VoIP call types, such as HD calls or video calls, the minimum speed is even higher. For instance, Skype recommends 1.2Mbps as the minimum bandwidth for VoIP HD video calls.
What options can be offered?
Dependant on the number of users and concurrent calls, we can offer connectivity from any of the following;
ADSL
SIP Assured ADSL FTTC
SIP Assured FTTC FTTP
EFM
Leased-Line / Ethernet
