LANGUAGE FEATURES

There are several language features that can be
found in a narrative text as follow:

1) The use of spesific nouns to mention people and

things in the story

2) The use of adjectives to describe the

quality/characteristics of the people, things and

events in the story

3) The use of time connectives to sequence events

through time

4) The use of adverbs and adverbial phrases to locate

the particular events

5) The use of past tense to mention actions.
