Inspection & Maintenance

• Preventative Maintenance

• Check Pillows and SOCs for tears, hardness (high humidity areas)
or contamination (light red bleed through).
• If Pillows or SOCs show any of the indications listed above, test pillow for

contaminant, remove/dispose of accordingly and replace with new
EnviroGuard UL Recognized Pillow or SOC.

• Contact EnviroGuard for information on Pillow Disposal and Recycling
Program.

• Liner Maintenance & Care
• Visually inspect liner to ensure its integrity has not been compromised.

• Check sealant for disturbances and reseal with EnviroGuard Acid Resistant
Sealant as needed.
• Disassembly of Side Containment Walls for Battery Service

1. Always use protective equipment when servicing battery strings
2. Extract floor anchor bolts, remove barrier walls

3. Lay 1/8” Masonite or equivalent sheet over liner where equipment and lifts
may be used
4. Return containment walls to previous location and secure with floor anchor

bolts.
