The BAYADA Way of Operating an Office: Home Care May 2019
Implementing the Playbook Model
The alignment to “The BAYADA Way of Operating an Office: Home Care” will be implemented through the BAYADA organizational chain of command, beginning with division directors, area directors, directors, and ultimately all office employees.
• Approval and Credentialing:
The operating model Playbook has been approved by the president and govern-
ing body and written into policies and procedures, as professional standards. These professional standards will be adopted and followed by all officers, regional directors, division directors, directors, managers and office employees. Training materials and competency evaluations will be used as a way to credential offices and individuals to the operating model.
• Roles of Regional Director and Division Director:
1. Regional Directors and Division Directors have the primary responsibility for en- suring that the operating models are implemented, followed, and adhered to on an ongoing basis.
They will:
• Learn and understand the professional standards as defined in the playbooks for each service line that they oversee (Visits, Skilled or Pediatric and Assistive Care).
• Oversee and support the directors and office teams in learning, understanding, assessing, and planning for the implementation of the professional standards for each service line offered by a particular office.
2. Area Directors and Directors will be responsible for:
• Learning and implementing the operating models for each service line
within their offices.
• Ensuring that all office employees learn and perform their job duties according to the professional standards and demonstrate core competencies for their roles.
