Panvel had organized a COVID-19
Vaccination Awareness Campaign
in Collaboration with the NSS Unit
of College at Panvel Railway
Station. The campaigns have
helped dispel misinformation while
promoting health recommendations
and medical guidelines set by the
Ministry of Public Health.
An objective of the COVID-19 Vaccine is to ensure that all eligible groups receive the vaccine with confidence. All people get the correct
information and are not influenced by mis/disinformation, myths or misconceptions. The hesitancy of the public is addressed on the
COVID-19 vaccination process. Provide correct, consistent and timely information on the new COVID-19 vaccine(s) (availability, safety,
and timelines) and vaccination processes. Generate awareness and understanding of the phased approach of prioritizing target groups.
Address low-risk perception of the infection amongst people and build an enabling environment to adopt and maintain COVID
appropriate behaviors to reduce any risks of infection. People are also encouraged to wash their hands frequently, use antiseptics to
clean household items, wear masks in public places, avoid meeting people with colds and coughs, observe the physical distance, avoid
crowded places, and stay home as much as possible. For the success of this campaign NSS Programme Officer Mr Mukesh Patil, Mr.
Hitesh Kadu and Miss. Ashlesha Kohale guiding all NSS Volunteers. Chairman Hon. Shri. Dhanraj Vispute, Principal Hon. Dr Ashish
Jain and IQAC Coordinator Dr. Bhushan Rane congratulate all NSS students for successfully conducting the programme.
Social activities done by the colleges on-field during covid times by KGRDCP&RI, Karjat
Under the Unnat Bharat, Yojana Konkan
Gyanpeeth Rahul Dharkar College of

has adopted 5 villages near the Karjat area.
on 25/06/2021 college has conducted a
program of free distribution of Chewvit- CD
Tablets in these adopted village. Chewvit-
CD Tablets is chewable Vitamin C, Vitamin
D3 and Zinc Sulphate Tablets; which helps
to build up immunity in this Pandemic
situation of Covid -19
About 1000 people were benefitted under the scheme. Sample of medicines were provided by the Chemist and Druggist association
Raigad District, (RDCDA) The program was done in collaboration with Indian Pharmaceutical Association (Raigad Branch) Program
was the coordinated by Mrs. Nilofar A. Khan and Mrs. Revati Deshpande. All teaching staff, non-teaching staff and students were
present for this program
