Dear GTC Members,
What a wonderful time the last few months have been getting to meet many of you and starting to understand where the Governors Towne Club has come from and where we are going. I wholeheartedly believe we have an amazing future and am looking forward to the journey.
Spring has arrived and the Masters is next week marking the beginning of the golf season. It is still early in 2021 but we already have some great successes to report. Through March we are positive net members and we continue to see the prospect list grow. If you know anyone that you think would be a good member of the Club please let Alex Red in the Membership office know and she will be happy to reach out to them on your behalf.
Starting on April 13th we will return to a single tee start for the golf course which will provide more tee time opportunities for our members. We have introduced a men’s night of the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month with a lady’s night on the 2nd Thursday and our new member reception is held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. We continue to make improvements to the golf course and have made significant strides at the tennis facility.
The summer season is fast approaching and will begin with the pool opening on May 28th. Lifeguards will be in place and we will have pool attendants to take your food and beverage orders to be provided from the main clubhouse.
