CULTURE OF CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
>>> Why Congressional University Exists
Essentially, this is why CU exists. The golf operations at Congressional has received
a multitude of section and national awards
and recognition over the past several years. However, we can afford to rest on our
laurels. As James Cash Penny stated, “No company can afford not to move forward.
It may be at the top of the heap today but
at the bottom of the heap tomorrow, if it doesn’t.” Our goal is for you to move up
within our operation or to move on to roles
of in-creased responsibility elsewhere.
This can only happen if we are striving to become better, as individuals and as a team, • on a daily basis. We expect constant and
never ending improvement from each of us.
PROTECTING OUR
• Be a steward of resources, conserve energy, properly maintain work areas and protect the environment.
BRAND
It is not by accident that our Club is ranked as the #1 Platinum Club in the country. This has happened as a result of continuous
success and hard work. The members have entrusted us to be good stewards of the Club’s resources and have put their faith in our ability to manage the Club into the future.
OUR COMMON
•
We expect each of you to be great ambassadors of Congressional in and out of the workplace.
A common purpose serves three critical needs; it clearly de nes our vision, it communicates a message internally to our team, and it creates an image of our golf operation.
It is important to realize that this is a living theme, not just words on paper, we must continually strive to bring them to life.
• Always speak positively about your coworkers, the membership and Congressional especially in a public setting.
Wear the logo proudly, but never in a situation that would project poorly on CCC or it’s members.
PURPOSE
Make every detail perfect, and limit the number of details to perfect.

Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”
