Indoor Aquatic Facilities and Programs
Outdoor Aquatic Facilities
The Indoor Aquatics facilities at Congres- sional Country Club include; a swimming pool that is 20 feet by 60 feet with a depth from 4 feet to 7 feet. The heated pool was built in the early 1920’s. The in- door tank accommodates lap swimmers, recreational family swimmers as well as instructional classes. We offer learn to swim lessons and swimming technique instruction for all ages as well as deep water aerobics for adults. We also have
a hot water spa equipped with Ja-cuzzi circulation jets.

The Outdoor Aquatics facilities at Congressional Country Club include three outdoor pools that were newly built in 2009; a beach entry wading pool that
is zero-depth to 1 1/2 feet and has two water jet features, a heated adult’s only pool with a depth from 3 1/2 feet to 5 1/2 feet that has four 25 meter lap swimming lanes and a relaxing in-pool sitting area with hydrotherapy jets and nally, an eight lane 25 meter competition/family pool that has hosted the country club league swimming championship three times in its short life. It includes two one-meter spring boards for diving into the 12 foot deep end as well as a shallow practice area for nonswimmers and novices. During the outdoor season, we offer learn to swim lessons and swimming technique instruction for
all ages as well as coached swimming and diving practices for juniors and adults. The outdoor aquatics facilities are supported by a full menu snack bar named “The Pavilion” and a full bar named, “The Stone Bar” Special events and parties are offered throughout the outdoor season.
