Penderyn Distillery Visitor Centre p57 is a must visit for
anyone who loves their gin or whisky – the hour long tour
ends with a tasting of the award winning products which
are exported all over the world.
Follow the A406 to find Craig y Nos Country Park (free to
enter but paid parking). Wander around 40 acres which
were the historic grounds of Craig y Nos Castle, once
owned by Victorian opera diva Adelina Patti. You can walk
into the surrounding hills from here. Steep climbs and a
couple of hours walking will lead you to the site of a
crashed WW2 bomber.
Just opposite you will find Pentre Riding Stables p50
offering trekking and riding holidays with accommodation,
to explore the surrounding countryside or riding lessons if
you want to brush up your skills.
Morning
Ride into the hills with Pentre Riding Stables p50
and choose between walking three and a half miles along
the steep flanks of Cribarth or roaming around the accessible
parkland of the estate.

Centre p57.
