I have had the best experience ever in the Construction Industry. I started my Plastering apprenticeship in 2014 and completed level 2, I then progressed onto the Technical apprenticeship through Cyfle Building Skills and attending NPTCollege, working with a variety of contractors and achieved my level 3 Technical Apprenticeship in 2018. I continued with my Pathway of learning by completing my HND level 5 in Quantity Surveying last year and working as a Trainee QS with Swansea City Council. I am on target to complete my Honours Degree next year, what a journey.
I won the UK Young Builder of The Year Award in 2019.

The best decision I made was entering the construction sector, job opportunities are currently growing faster than other industries, this is the right time for me to start my dream job.
I work in carpentry, and I am learning new skills all the time I am able to work on new and exciting projects coming to the county.
