P. 7
It’s a real honour for me to write this as captain of the club I’ve been a part of since I was just six years
old. Talywain RFC has been a huge part of my life – from my first game in mini rugby, right through to
leading the senior side out in the Championship. It’s more than just a club – it’s a community, a family,
and a place that’s shaped me on and off the field.
Being selected as Captain for this team is something
I don’t take lightly. Every time I step onto the pitch,
I’m proud to represent the badge, the boys beside
me and all the supporters who stand by us in every
game, rain or shine.
As we head into our second season in the
Championship, we know the road ahead won’t be
easy, every fixture is a battle, and the standard is
high but it’s a challenge we’re excited to face again.
We have learnt a lot from our first season at this
level, and we are determined to build on that
experience and keep pushing forward. There’s belief
in this squad, hunger to improve, and pride in what
we’re building here at Talywain.
This season is another opportunity for us all to test
ourselves, to grow together, and to represent our
club and community with everything we’ve got.
I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone
who supports us from the sidelines, in the clubhouse,
or behind the scenes. Your backing means everything.
