d. Media releases
Press releases and other media and PR activity must include:
• A reference within the text to support from the City Deal Skills and Talent programme
in the body of the press release.
• The logos as described in a above.
• Notes to the editor should include the following information.
The project has received funding of £ (insert amount) from the Swansea Bay City Deal Skills
and Talent Programme. The programme is funded by the UK and Welsh Government. The
main aim of the City Deal programme is to stimulate the local economy through investment
in key innovative projects. The Skills and Talent programme is part of the overall regional
programme that will deliver the skills training and upskilling of the workforce to develop the
workforce of the future to meet the needs of all of the City Deal programmes and the wider
economy.
Additional requirements
All marketing and communications materials should be shared with the RLSP before
printing or distribution to the media.
Copies of all publicity and marketing materials should be retained by the individual
projects and made available to the RLSP when required.
Welsh Language
SBCD and Skills and Talent programme are committed to the promotion and use of the
Welsh Language. We encourage partners and stakeholders to comply with the Welsh
Language Standards.
All external City Deal communications such as media releases, brochures, adverts, social
media and exhibition material both printed or online should where possible be in Welsh
and English.
