10/10 I would recommend getting 2 weeks off work to do the intensive course. From someone who is
still rather new to the industry, it was all relevant and relatable and did not feel intimidating at all.

I've already recommended it! I said it was an amazing course, a lot of information but a lot of things
that we aren't aware of as crew that we should know. I think if you are to follow a career in yachting,
this course is a must. I feel like I can understand a lot more in a general spectrum all aspects of the
yachting industry that I wasn't aware of. Especially the legal framework, that is mostly understood
by captains and officers. I'm very happy I did it and would highly recommend it.

My favourite part of the course is getting a more in depth understanding of the inner workings of
vessels and all of the tasks and responsibilities of a Purser that isn't easily seen by other crew. What I
really love about The Crew Academy is that they welcome everyone to do the course. I was always told
you have to be a Chief Stew or work on a certain size yacht for x number of years before you can apply
to do a Purser course. So I thank you and your team for making my career goal seem more achievable.
I would highly recommend this course to a colleague. Whether they were interested in the Chief Stew
or Purser path, I believe it's incredibly valuable knowledge to have.

I personally find the online option fabulous if you can't travel to the UK. You can do it from anywhere
in the world and have trainer Julia helping you. After completing this course, you will have all the tools
and knowledge to thrive in your next adventure.

The Crew Academy's Purser course is 100% worth the time and investment - lectures are a good
balance between fun and interesting and educational, I truly feel like I have learned so much.
I also felt supported by Julia all the way through - she was so patient and always willing to help.

I would say go for it! It's something that you wouldn't like to miss if you really want to have more
opportunities in the yachting industry. It's a 2 week course but it would give you a lifetime's worth
of information.
