Margarita
40ml Tequila
20ml Triple Sec / Cointreau
30ml Fresh Lime Juice
Garnish: Lime wedge on Half Salt Rim
*Shake and serve in martini glass, rimmed with salt.
Rub a wedge of lime on half of the glass rim and dip into the salt.
Pour all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake. Double strain into a cocktail glass. Roll glass with a mix of salts if possible - rock and fine.
Caipirinha
1.5 Limes
3 Teaspoons White Sugar 60ml Cachaca
Garnish: None
*Muddle and serve in short tumbler.
Dice the limes into chunks and place in the glass half of boston shaker, add the sugar and crush with a muddling stick or a rolling pin.
Then add cachaca and cubed ice, put the lid on the shaker and roll back and forth a few times, do not shake like with other cocktails, this is just to combine the ingredients.
Pour the entire contents of the shaker into a rocks glass, crown with crushed ice, add a couple of small straws.
Roll Limes. Remember to make with cubed ice & top with crushed.
