About the course
Whether you’re looking to progress into the Purser role, you
already occupy the position and would like to formalise your
existing experience, or you’re simply looking to progress
within any senior interior position, our IAMI GUEST Purser
Program is for you
The industry’s leading Purser program, it was the first fully-
accredited course of its kind to be created. Over the last decade,
we have seen 700 purser graduates successfully pass through our
courses. And, whether you choose residential or online, the
program has been designed to fit around your current work and
life schedule.
The program provides an understanding of a vast range of
practical skills that may be required of pursers in their role on board
including yacht operations, destination management, VAT,
accounting, crew management, HR and more.
Course Format
We have four options for Purser students, depending on your
existing commitments and lifestyle. Intakes for both residential
and online courses are limited to ensure the very best level of
teaching for each and every student.
The 2-week courses are structured as follows:
• 6 hours daily lectures Monday to Friday, plus self study
• Learning is broken down into 8 interactive modules
• Students will complete 3 written assessments, alongside
other graded assignments
• Flexi students can join any of the live lecture sessions
throughout their course
