About the course
The Crew Academy's IAMI and GUEST accredited Advanced
Laundry Service course provides deep insight into the world of
luxury laundry.
Discover the best practices for handling laundry onboard,
ensuring guest and crew satisfaction. Learn to interpret laundry
labels accurately for proper garment care and become familiar
with washer and dryer symbols for efficient operation.
Master garment care techniques, including ironing, pressing,
folding, and presentation, for a polished appearance. Understand
the importance of regular laundry equipment maintenance for
optimal performance. Discover how to minimise environmental
impact in laundry operations and prioritise health and safety
through best practices and risk assessments.
Expand your knowledge of fabric care, exploring specific
treatments for various materials to ensure their longevity. Become

Course Format
Total of 11.5 hours of blended learning which takes place online
allowing students to join from any time-zone and location.
