About the course
The Crew Academy’s GUEST-accredited Advanced Cigar
Service eLearning course is designed to provide comprehensive
knowledge and skills in the world of cigar service.
Exploring a wide range of topics, the course begins by delving into
the rich history of cigars, their cultural significance, and the global
impact of cigars, gaining a deeper appreciation for their
craftsmanship and historical roots.
Develop a rich understanding of the different types of cigars, how
to discern the range of flavours and intensities and be able to
confidently source, store and make recommendations for cigars
based on their guests’ preferences.
Providing a luxury cigar service is a central learning outcome of
this course, including mastering the art of cutting, lighting, and
preparing the cigar for service. You will also explore the art of
pairing cigars with various beverages, including wines, spirits, and
non-alcoholic alternatives.
Our Advanced Cigar Service eLearning course is specially
designed to empower you with the confidence, knowledge, and
skills necessary to cater to the needs of even the most discerning
cigar aficionados.
Course Format
