Herefordshire is Farm Stay heaven, as many of the farmhouses and buildings have become gorgeous B&Bs and holiday lets, but at least you won’t have to feed the cows and plough the fields. But don’t think there’s not plenty to do here; the wealth of market towns have lots going on, from regular
festivals celebrating their traditions and always the food,
the FOOD, to our beautiful City of Hereford with its history
and culture, shopping and parks, and the magnificent
cathedral.
Bordered by the Black Mountains, the Malvern Hills, The Brecon Beacons and its own stunning landscape, Herefordshire’s is a mecca for walkers, cyclists and climbers. Holding walking festivals in every region, mapping plenty of routes for every ability with plenty of bedstops along the way, this couldn’t be
a more ’walkers are welcome’ destination. Or pick up the pace on your bicycle and go on or off road with abandon.
The River Wye, the Lugg, the Arrow and more attract not only tremendous fishing, but fantastic canoeing and their banks are beautiful picnic spots. We could go on, but what we simply want to say is, Herefordshire is amazing and we can’t wait to show you how.
