Complete Yacht Service has been specifically created
for current or aspiring Senior Interior crew members who have one year's experience in the Superyacht industry. The course focuses on the managerial skills required to progress through the ranks to a HoD or Management role on-board. ItcoversallelementssetoutintheAdvanced GUEST II Yacht Interior Administration and Human Resource, Yacht Interior Advanced Service and Yacht Advanced Housekeeping, Valet and Laundry modules.
Course Outline
With the focus on a Chief Steward/ess’ key job functions, this 5-day course is aimed at those interior crew members who currently hold a Chief Steward/ess position or who aspire to this in the future.
Delegates are given the tools necessary to develop leadership skills and to manage a team in service, housekeeping and laundry. Two live guest lunches are scheduled so our students can practice a variety of Service, Communication and Management skills. Students will also be required to practise and master a range of different Service styles including Caviar, Cigars, Filleting, Carving and Flambé work. We will provide students not only with the tools to streamline guest preferences and acquire rigorous interior administrative skills, but also to prepare for guest trips and plan for on-board parties and events.
Key Outcomes
Through theoretical and practical training, delegates emerge armed with the knowledge to skillfully lead an interior team in flawless Service, Housekeeping and Laundry duties that will ensure the smooth operation of all aspects of the interior department. All passing students are accredited with a GUEST Certificate.
Price
Prices are set at €1,850 per course in 2017/18, which includes all training material, private accommodation - only 6 beds available (excluding weekends) for the 5 days. Non-residential €1,700.
Number of delegates per course is a minimum of two and a maximum of six to ensure optimal training results.
