Export Holds the Key.
The analysis of the diminishing cross-channel live export led the group of
farmers to pinpoint exactly where their efforts should be focussed.
It was decided that their aim would be to facilitate the free flow of livestock
into Europe on a regular basis and at a realistic cost. The project would be
called ‘The Farmers Ferry’.
