Money, Money, Money.
To realise their aim, donations were sought to raise funds to lease
a shipping company.
6,500 farmers from across the UK stepped forward and by August
1998. The Farmers Ferry came into being, with enough funding to
undertake the long-term charter of the vessel Cap Afrique.
