Groceries & supplies
Hay-on-Wye is five miles away and has a good selection of shops
selling local produce (two excellent butchers, a fruit & veg shop, and
Hay Deli). There is a small Spar in Hay, a Londis and a medium sized
Co-op just outside Hay on the Clifford road. The fuel stations in
Glasbury and Clyro also sell basic supplies.
On Thursdays mornings has a lively market with stalls selling
artisanal bread, local cheeses, fruit and vegetables, meat and eggs
from local farms, and fresh fish. Jones’ Hardware in Hay sells
practical supplies and camping accessories. All major supermarkets
will deliver.
