the things you need to know...
Barn doors
When opened, the barn doors can be blown shut by a gust of wind if
they are not properly attached. Please make sure that each door is
securely fixed to the two anchor points provided - at the bottom and
back of each door.
Garden furniture
The garden furniture can be blown over in windy weather. Please
make sure that the parasols are left in the closed position during
such conditions, and always at night.
Recyling
Please recycle as much waste as possible.
• Separate bins for plastic, glass, paper, magazines & cardboard
can be found to the left-hand side of the house.
• Please ensure ALL food waste (including unused) is put in the
small green waste bins in the kitchens. When these bins are
full please empty the contents into the larger green
composting bin in the recycling area outside. Under NO
circumstances should food waste be mixed in the black bin
bags or in the other recycling bins.
• Black plastic bin liners for general waste are also supplied.
• Silver bins in kitchen & bathroom is for general waste only,
ie non recyclable waste.
• Wood Ash – dispose the wood ash in the ash bucket provided.
Hot tub
The area around the hot tub can get wet during use. Please take
care when entering and leaving the tub and pay special attention
to the hot tub instructions and advice. The hot tub is set to 38°C.
You only need to press the jets and Light controls to operate it.
The safety rules & advice are on display by the hot tub.
Towels for the hot tub can be found in the Bear House (next to the
hot tub).
