Will Anglian Solaroof make my conservatory dark?
No, the light transmission through the Solaroof has a light transmission at 20.5%,
whilst a clear sealed unit has a light transmission of 79.6%.
Will I lose the benefit of borrowed solar heat from the Winter Sun?
No. As the Winter Sun remains much lower in the sky, the conservatory will generate heat
through the wallframes of the conservatory.
What solar heat rejection could I expect on a typical summer’s day?
The average U.K. summer temperature is circa 22/23oC. The internal temperature of a conservatory
may reach an additional 10oC - 15oC (that’s 32oC - 38oC) rendering the conservatory almost
unusable. The Anglian Solaroof will reject the solar heat gain by up to 75%.
Will my conservatory be more comfortable?
Along with the benefits of temperature reduction, visible glare will be reduced by up to 82%.
