Can Anglian Solaroof be fitted retrospectively?
Unfortunately not. The Anglian Solaroof is a factory fitted process, undertaken in a ‘clean’
room and is applied to the inside of the outside pane of glass.
Can I purchase Solaroof anywhere else in the market place?
No. In line with Anglian’s policy of continual product development, Solaroof has been designed
by Anglian for Anglian.
Is there a choice of colours?
No. The finish of the Anglian Solaroof is silver-grey in colour.
Can Anglian Solaroof be used in conjunction with a standard Anglian sealed unit?
Yes. All Anglian Solaroof sealed units will include toughened safety glass and are ‘Ultra’ gas filled
as standard.
Can I rely on Anglian Solaroof alone to control the temperature of my conservatory?
No. It is recommended that you combine Anglian Solaroof with other forms of heating control to
ensure that you have a room which can be temperature controlled to your exact requirements.
Quality Assurance Statement
Anglian Solaroof has been developed with the aim of greatly reducing the issues associated with conservatories especially solar
heat gain, fading and visible glare. There is no product available that will 100% eliminate fading, solar heat gain or visible glare
through glass.
Our extensive tests on Anglian’s Solaroof have consistently delivered an Ultra Violet rejection of over 98%, visible glare of up to
82% and solar heat rejection of up to 75%. These figures may vary owing to the aspect of the conservatory and the location of
the sun.
NB: Solaroof is not available in vertical Wallframes. Occasionally, some unwanted reflection from the Solaroof can be reflected
into the property.
