National League Division 6 East Central. I am sure that with a strengthened
coaching team they will be looking for promotion.
Having been involved with the Youth XV for such a long time, I am know
the importance of our Youth, Junior and Mini sections. It has always been
a challenge to hold onto our players as they come out of the Youth XV
but I am sure that the combination of a revised coaching team at these
levels and the new pathway structure will ensure progress. Thank you to
all involved with these sections.
The season sees a new beginning off the field with Angharad Woodland
becoming the first female Chair of the Club. Congratulations to her; I know
she has the vision to push the Club forward. Behind her a new Committee
has been formed with the emphasis on spreading the workload. Thank you
to all who have come forward and volunteered your time and expertise.
Supporters coming to Parc de Pugh this season will see our new Kiosk
which will house a bar and provide refreshments. We are greatly indebted
to Gary Bowen and W. W. Bowen Ltd for the impressive work that has gone
into this enviable construction. Both the Clubhouse and Kiosk will be under
the control of our Club Operations Manager – Sharon Williams and her
staff. I wish to thank them for their hard work and dedication.
I would like to say a personal thank you to all our Sponsors for your
generous support; without you we would be unable to survive. It is also
great to see the loyal supporters we have for matches – both home and
away. I am sure the players really appreciate this dedication and thank you.
We therefore look forward to the forthcoming season with eager anticipation
for all our teams and warmly welcome all of our visiting opponents and
their supporters. We hope that you will join us in the Clubhouse post match
where you will receive a warm and friendly welcome.
