Dog Friendly Walk in Putley
Thursday 23rd June, 2022. 10.30am to 2.00pm
A dog-accessible walk through and around the apple orchards of the village of Putley, using paths, tracks and quiet roads. Being led by visually impaired Marika, with the wit and chat of Norman, a local man, an ex-cider maker, who was born and bred in the village.

We meet at Edwyn Ralph village hall to take a minibus to the start of the walk at Fromes Hill. The Herefordshire Trail follows rural footpaths passing churches, a vine yard, hop fields and orchards, through Bishops Frome and Bromyard before finishing at Edwyn Ralph.

Farm tracks, footpaths and green lanes take you through scenic meadows, orchards and woods, towards the river and the healing spring. Touch the history as we walk, to include information on a famous local Artist; Brian Hatton and a member of The Bulmer family. Listen to their stories and the history surrounding us.
