  13 Memorial Gates Walk

This route joins 12 out of the 13 Eardisland Memorial Walks' Memorial Gates, using lanes and paths. At each named Gate, there is an opportunity to hear about the named fallen soldier. Opportunity for short stops in villages to visit amenities. The start point becomes a mid-way point in the figure 8 - walkers can cut the walk short, if desired. (www.eardislandmemorialwalks.org.uk)

Walk 35
Descending from the West side of the Malvern Hills, the walk picks up paths and quiet country lanes through beautiful undulating, wooded countryside with far-reaching views across Herefordshire and up to the Malvern Hills which were featured on the Countryfile TV programme in December 2021. Route passes through a couple of privately owned estates (with permission).

Beyond Widemarsh Gate
Sunday 25th June, 2022. 2.00pm to 3.30pm
Walk 36
   This short historical walk will start from the statue of Allan Lewis (VC) at the Old Market in Hereford. Walk down Widemarsh Street to the Coningsby Museum (donations gratefully received), then enter Blackfriars Rose Gardens to view Grade II * Scheduled Monument. Walk up Widemarsh Street to the Old Market to see Cattle Market sites and modern market.
