Whether you are a former player, family of a junior or senior
player or simply an enthusiastic follower we urge you to become
a Vice President and better still get someone to sign up with
you!
The mix of ages - often three generations from one family, to play,
watch and socialise around rugby is one of the elements that
makes this sport great and for this to continue we need to spread
the membership net as widely as possible. Vice Presidents are vital
to the continued success of our club for a number of reasons.
Firstly, we believe Gwernyfed Rugby Club is a great organisation
and in becoming a Vice President you will help maintain the
history of the Club and enable the clubs success for future
generations.
Secondly, despite being an amateur club, running costs rise year
on year and whilst every penny of profit goes back into the
running of the Club, greater financial resources are required to
maintain and develop both the playing side and club facilities.
Vice Presidents funds make up a significant contribution to these
costs.
The intention of the Vice Presidents Club is to organise events
over the calendar year. This will include free lunches provided at
home matches for all Vice Presidents.
